Saffron Road Launches at Winter Fancy Food Show

Stamford, CT – January 16, 2011 – American Halal Company, Inc. is pleased to announce the official launch of their premium all natural, halal-certified, food brand, Saffron Road at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, California. Saffron Road can be found at Booth #1447 in the Natural/Organic pavilion. Saffron Road’s products celebrate the memorable meals and mutual values families and friends of all cultures share around the dinner table.

Saffron Road’s initial four products: Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, Lamb Saag, and Lamb Vindaloo are currently sold nationwide at Whole Foods Market and select natural/specialty foods retailers. Each entree is made from only the finest all natural ingredients, including pasture raised lamb and Certified HumaneÒ chicken, which are never given any antibiotics or hormones.

In addition to the all natural ingredients, and the adherence to authentic ethnic culinary techniques, all Saffron Road products are Halal Certified by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA). Halal is an ancient tradition that has healthfully fed literally billons of people over the last 1,400 years.
