Saffron Road Makes a Big Splash at American Muslim Consumer Conference

Stamford, CT – November 9, 2010 – Saffron Road, a sponsor and presenter at the recent American Muslim Consumer Conference (AMCC), had an outstanding response from both attendees and speakers at the event.

 

The launch of Saffron Road, America’s first all-natural, Halal certified frozen Indian entrees at Whole Foods Market®, did indeed create a big splash at the Conference. From mentions in presentations such as Ogilvy Noor and Gallup to non-stop traffic at the brand’s booth by consumers and community thought leaders.

 

“We are pleased with the enormous amount of support we received at the AMCC. Our brand was mentioned on nearly every panel and positioned as a leader in our category,” says Saffron Road’s Chief Halal Officer, Adnan Durrani.

 

The entire conference is receiving a lot of buzz among the Muslim community, as well as with the marketing communications industry. Virally Saffron Road was the talk of AMCC and now the brand is seeing that spill over into the blogosphere and news media.

“Our presence at Whole Foods Market turned out to be a much bigger hit with Muslim consumers than we ever expected,” comments Saffron Road’s Executive Vice President, Jack Acree who himself addressed the topic of partnering with mainstream corporations on one of the event’s panels.

In addition to Jack’s panel, Adnan served as moderator for the Conference’s entrepreneur showcase, earning him the title of unofficial title of “the Simon Cowell of the panel” due to his critiques
