Saffron Road Debuts Eight NEW Items at Fancy Food Show on July 8, 2011
Stamford, CT – June 23, 2011 – American Halal Company, Inc is pleased to announce that its Saffron Road brand will be exhibiting at the upcoming Summer Fancy Food Show by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT). Saffron Road will unveil its eight new All Natural, Antibiotic-Free, Hormone-Free, Halal Certified frozen foods to the trade food industry for the first time in Washington, D.C. from July 8 to 12.
Saffron Road’s new products include: Lemongrass Basil Chicken, Moroccan Lamb Stew, Lamb Koftis and Chicken Pad Thai, as well as frozen chicken options: Chicken Nuggets, Chicken Bites, Chicken Tenders and Tandoori Seasoned Chicken Nuggets. All eight items are currently sold nationwide at Whole Foods Market®. The new entrees are available for the suggested retail price of $5.49 to $5.99 and the frozen chicken items are available for $6.99.
These new, convenient meal/snack options are ideal for shoppers who are concerned with what they and their children consume – all eight items are All Natural, Halal Certified, Certified Humane®, and use protein, which is raised without antibiotics and 100 percent vegetarian fed. Consumers who prefer gluten-free foods will find that six of these eight new Saffron Road’s products are certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization.
