The texture takes a bit of getting used to but there's really not that much flavor there at all.
I wasn't even looking for snackfoods that day, but whenever I'm in a new grocery store, I always like to peruse the "foreign foods" section to see what tasty, unique things I might find. I've made crunchy chickpeas at home before, both for snacks and in place of salad croutons, so I was excited to see these Saffron Road crunchy chickpeas on the shelf. I took one look at the spices used and knew I had to try them! They did not disappoint. Their flavor is robust and leaves a nice kick of spice in your mouth. The only warning I have: they are addictive! I can't wait to try the other flavors. Thank you, Saffron Road, for bringing these to my life!

I make sure to have a bag of these at my office. They are the perfect 3 pm snack when you really are craving that cookie from across the street but then remember you have these tucked away in your desk. Crunchy and spicy, they are perfect on their own but also great in salads.
After initial crunch these became a pasty texture in my mouth.
