Enchiladas Al Chipotle Frozen Meal

Did you know that…
It was the Maya who discovered the perfect way to make a tortilla in ancient times. The key is grinding the corn in a limestone container that releases calcium into the dough. This process, called nixtamalization, actually improves the protein structure of corn making it more nutritious. Today we use the same process to make our nixtamal corn tortillas and fill them with fire-roasted corn, a chipotle pepper sauce and other delicacies passed down from the Maya.

Delish!
I tried this enchilada meal a couple of months ago and found it to be delicious. I eat the different foods together so I didn’t notice any lack of flavor in the rice or beans. I prefer the flavor of this enchilada sauce to La Frontera. I plan to try more Saffron Road.
Flavorful!
The product doesn't look like the picture at all but it didn't matter one single bit because it is absolutely delicious. It's a nice change of pace to have a frozen meal with flavor... I think Saffron Road understood the assignment.
These are so yummy for a frozen meal and thank you Saffron Road for these being certified gluten free. I LOVE everything Ive tried from this brand.
This was plain delicious. I usually pretty much stay away from frozen meals but these were on sale and I gave it a try and it kind of blew my mind how good it was.
I'm diabetic. I don't eat meat or fish. And I live a very busy life so I depend on quick or frozen foods a lot. I just tried Enchiladas al Chipotle and while the food looked nothing like the picture on the box when I peeled off the film, it tasted wonderful. I plan to try all of Saffron Road's vegetarian options, but I think I'll like these enchiladas best. And for what it's worth, I suspect the reviewers that say this food doesn't taste "Mexican" enough are comparing it to so-called Mexican food you typically get at fast food restaurants in the U.S. I think these enchiladas, rice, and beans are perfect just the way they are. And I'm comparing them to what I ate in Cholula. Whatever you're doing, Saffron Road, please don't stop.
