SUMMARY

While sightseeing in Kathmandu, participants are given the opportunity to visit our tour’s benefitting charity, the Sewa Kendra Leprosy Relief to meet with Dr. Pradhan and the organizations clients. You will see first hand the enormous difference that our contributions will make to the clinic and its “Little School On The Roof". Beyond Kathmandu, on our mighty Royal Enfield Bullet motorbikes, we follow the paths of meandering rivers, passing valleys of terraced agricultural land and frequently traversing mountain passes with stunning vistas. We visit charming mountain communities and markets, most of which have magnificent panoramic backdrop of the Nepal Himalaya. What could be more uplifting than watching sunrises and sunsets over this great mountain range? We also have the opportunity to view Nepal’s unique fauna (including the endangered One-horned Rhinoceros) with a visit to the Royal Chitwan National Park- swapping our bikes for elephants! Before heading back to Kathmandu we travel to the far north, close to the Tibet border, to a place in a deep gorge aptly named “The Last Resort”!
